Hospital Based Skill Transfer Programme

Skill development of the staff – clinical and non clinical – in a hospital is indispensable to cater to the eye care services with quality to the society.

VISION 2020 – INDIA conducts a 2 to 3 days clinical skill enhancement programme for member organisations at their premises. The effort is to facilitate skill transfer and build the clinical capacity and improve the much needed quality of eye care services available in India. As per the requirement, one or two resource persons visit the hospital and conduct this skill transfer programme.

The training programme is conducted by skilled and experienced ophthalmologists who are drawn from a pool of faculty registered with us in all specialities in eye care.

Strategic Planning and Team Building Programme

A professional approach and well coordinated working of all the departments is vital for successful eye care delivery.

To ensure this, VISION 2020 – INDIA conducts a two day Team Building and Strategic Planning programme at member organisations towards a holistic capacity building and also guide them to develop their strategies for future. We help our member organisations to conduct need assessment with the help of leading eye care professionals and managers. Based on the outcome programme tailored to their requirements is recommended. Two resource persons from VISION 2020 – INDIA visit the member hospital to conduct the programme.

Peer Reviewed Quality Assessment

In order to help our member hospitals achieve minimum standards of quality, while continuously working towards higher standards, we offer “Peer Reviewed Quality Assessment Process”.

The process is led by Quality Assessment team from VISION 2020 – INDIA and includes a visit to the different departments of the member hospital for a review based on a comprehensive checklist developed with inputs from experts. The collated information and along with inputs from a detailed discussions with all heads of the hospital departments, VISION 2020 – INDIA team discusses the way forward for implementation with the member organisation.
